By learning to follow a conductor and blend their individual sounds, students discover the power of teamwork and mutual support. Important Dates
Orchestra rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Students work on ensemble skills, listening, rhythm, tone, and collaborative musicianship through weekly rehearsals and performances.
Rehearsals and performances take place on the Main Campus of Frederick Community College, in the Visual and Performing Arts Building.

Audition & Enrollment
Requirements & Selection
Auditions are for ensemble placement and music selection only. We ask that students be able read music and have at least one year of experience on their instruments.Â

How to Apply
Families are asked to submit their audition application by the audition deadlines posted on the calendar. After reviewing the video we will send you a registration link and music to begin practicing before the first rehearsal.
